Cooksy takes your privacy seriously. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have.

What we collect

When you join our waitlist, we collect your name and email address. When you use the Cooksy app, we collect information you provide directly — such as pantry items, meal logs, and dietary preferences — to power the features you use.

We may also collect basic usage data (pages visited, features used) to improve the product. We do not collect payment information at this time.

How we use it

We use your information to operate and improve Cooksy, to send you product updates and your waitlist invitation, and to personalise your experience — for example, suggesting recipes based on your pantry and preferences. We do not sell your data to third parties, and we do not use it for advertising.

Data storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a GDPR-compliant database provider. Data is stored in the US by default. We apply industry-standard security practices including encryption at rest and in transit.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. You may also request that we stop processing your data or export it in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, email us at anandpradyum@gmail.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
